Presented is a vintage c. 1970s studio made sterling necklace.
The central decorative element is an intense design of gnarly compressed wire.
It is actually 3 segments seamlessly joined, which gives it a bit of flex.
This element is attached to two wires with a simple hook clasp.
A striking and unusual design.

It’s on the smaller size, measuring about 14” wearable size (it can be lengthened by simply adding some silver links to the end--I have a couple inches of sterling chain, as shown in the last photo, that I would be happy to add on for no charge).
The decorative part is about 4 1/4” by 7/8”
