  • Condition: These bells exhibit wear consistent with their age. Imperfections include, but not limited to: soiling, uneven glaze, each bell comes with a gold colored rope that is faded and frayed, bottoms of all three bells are unglazed. Small gold colored bell slit is uneven. Large bell seems to have some small residue on the bottom unglazed portion. That being said, these bells are in excellent shape with no obvious cracks, fractures, scratches or dings.

    Description

    You are bidding on a lot of 3 vintage Japanese ceramic bells. They all have a working ceramic striker, each making their own unique sound. Japanese Dorei are considered lucky and make great gifts.
    These bells were originally bought by my Grandfather, an avid Asian antique collector in early 1978. He most likely purchased them in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he lived, or in Japan, where he frequently travelled.

    These collectible bells are the perfect addition to an existing bell collection could be used for props or staging. Also these would be the perfect international holiday gift!
