    Description

    This is a mother of pearl and imitation pearl necklace and earrings . The necklace is about 18" long. The necklace has a lobster claw closure. The earrings are for pierced ears. The earrings are about from the top of the hooks 1 13/16" x 1/2".
    Mother of pearl is produced by molluscs, mussels, oysters and abalone by producing a secretion called nacre which lines its inner shell. It is iridescent and strong. It is used in ornaments and jewelry.
